Visual management Through 5 ‘S’

Most of the industries are now implementing Five S for enhancing productivity. The 5S system is a component of lean manufacturing tool that enhances the efficiency of workplace, resulting in higher productivity by reducing or eliminating waste.

Five S  and Visual management is recommended to be applied in Broader fields --  in Manufacturing and Service Industries  even at Homes . Visual Management tool is extensively used in Japanese management  .  Kaizen and 5 ‘S’  has definite link  with Visual management.
