Market regulator SEBI will auction 16 properties of 4 companies. These include Golden Life Agro India and Sun Plant Agro. Their reserve price has been kept at Rs 9 crores. Assets of Greenworld Agro Industries and Sun Plant Business will also be auctioned. It is believed that this move of the regulator is part of the effort of these companies to recover the money collected by the common people from the wrong way. The notice issued by SEBI said that these properties located in West Bengal will be auctioned on September 28. Of the 19 assets held for the auction, eight of the Sun, six of Sun Plant Agro, six of Golden Life Agro India and one each asset of Greenworld Agro Industries and Sun Plant Business.

The reserve price for these properties has been kept at Rs.8.86 crore. SEBI has joined hands with SBI Capital Market to help in the sale of these assets through e-auction platform. Interested candidates can purchase properties on September 14. SEBI Has said that before presenting their bids, independent inquiries should be made about siege, property properties for auction and other things. SEBI had announced earlier this month that it will auction 19 assets owned by five companies- Maitreya Services, Suman Motel, Arise Land Developers, Parasramapriya Plantations and Four Seasons Farm.
