GSTR-3B deadlines For Return Filing Can be Extended to June 2018 With Easy Process

New Delhi (Business Desk) The last date for filling the GSTr-3B sales return form can be extended to June 2018 as anticipated in the GST Council meeting to be held Saturday. The return filing process is also anticipated to be made more simple The meeting of GST Council is proposed to be held on March 10, 2018. This will be Council's 26th meeting that will be held on 10th Mar 2018.

The Council, headed by the Union Finance Minister, which includes the Finance Minister of the States, can be finalized in the next meeting to facilitate filing returns for the businesses registered under GST (commodity and service tax). . According to an official, "If the new return filing system gets consent from the council, it can take about 3 months to implement, until GSTR-3B can continue."

Simplyified Sales Return GSTR-3B was introduced in July 2017, that is, when GST was implemented across the country. It was brought so that businesses could easily file returns. In addition, GSTR-1, GSTR-2 and GSTR-3 are also filled.

Due to problems faced by traders, such as not matching the invoices and other complications of GSTN during the filing of final returns in GST system, GST Council increased the deadline of GSTR 3B filing in March last year to March 2018
